Hi and thanks for looking at my post.

I'm about to onboard a hospitality client who uses ezee frontdesk as their online booking system. Previous agencies have been unable to place a GA pixel within the js of the booking system. I believe there's valuable data in here to create goals around.

I'm mostly being proactive and seeing if I can gather as much info as possible before we launch this client, therefore, I have yet to speak with their dev regarding this issue.

So if anyone has any experience with placing the GA pixel in an online booking system or something similar and can offer me some insights, that would be much appreciated.

Any and all questions/answers/feedback to this post is welcome

I don't know about your booking engine, but if it is a worst case you can use Universal Analytics measurment protocol to upload offline conversion data to UA and you can automate that. Then UA will have mor conversion data such as value, customer real info etc...

actually, I was told the wrong booking engine.  It's SynXis by Sabre

any info or reference points to info would be great, even using similar systems.

unfortunately not so far, although I think the web dev coded the booking engine widget incorrectly.  We're actually testing out different coding of the widget today.  We're using google tag manager with cross domain tracking set up.  Hopefully it works.  We're tracking everything fine on the rest of the site, just not with the booking engine widget.

John, did this ever work out in the end?  I've been told that we can't install Google Tag Manager on Synxis for cross domain tracking but I'm hoping that's incorrect.
