Extract campaign and referral info out of cookies?

Hi guys, 

I've been reading some articles on extracting referral or campaign data out of GA cookies (_utmz). 

These articles are relative old so I don't think they apply to the Universal Analytics. 

I was wondering if there's a way to extract referral and campaign data out of the tracking cookies used by Universal Analytics.

Hi, there's no way. That information now it's being processed by Google servers.

If you want to do that, you should try re-making the same functionality with your own cookies.
