Google translate element

I have my page in Spanish, which links to an external URL which has
the Google Translate element (the site is in English). Is there a
parameter I can add to the link so that the default language is
Spanish?

Hi Jenny,

There's no way to set the default language for the Translate element.  Instead, it will automatically offer to translate the content into the language of the visitor (based on their browser settings).

Ops, sorry Jenny, the other site have th Translate element, you can't
aadd target on these site, of course.
May be you can use some HTML, like
<a href="http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http://
URL_SITE&langpair=en|es
&hl=es&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&prev=
%2Flanguage_tools">Link</a>

but the visitor will see 2 Translate elements.
