http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.6.2/jquery.min.js is not
found from GoogleChrome.

It moved correctly before.
Even if http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.6.2/jquery.min.js
is requested directly, it is not possible to acquire it.
It is thought that it is because the old one had been used before.
It functioned correctly when cache was cleared.

jquery.min.js is a minified version of the JQuery JavaScript library, which provides a number of basic functions for websites.. It is in your temporary internet folder because it has been cached there by one (or more) of the sites you've visited. It doesn't go away when you restart because its expiration date is set to some time in the distant future. Leaving it there improves performance of the site(s) in question because they don't have to request the file again from the server but can simply utilize it almost immediately. Removing it will have very little consequence because it will simply be cached again the next time you visit a site that utilizes it (and, for the record, there are a lot of them that do). If you really don't want it cached on your system, you can adjust your browser settings so that files are not cached at all (which will slow down website and web application performance), so that the cache is dumped every time your browser quits, etc. If you need help doing so, you can find instructions for your web browser by searching the web.

Hi, what is this file and why do I need it in my temp. intenet folder. For some reason I cannot delete it even after a restart. Is it malware?

Thanks, Matt.

hi Jeremy, Very cool answer thank you :) Do you think one of the programs that starts at boot is calling the file from the internet, like Skype? And that is why it keeps showing up?  I mean I should be able to delete it from my internet cache, right?

Thanks for your help,

Matt

Unless you're starting a webpage or web app at startup, it should not be utilized from startup. JQuery is a library that provides functionality on a web page or web app. Nothing more, nothing less. You should be able to delete it from your cache, but as I said, doing so will slow down the pages and applications which utilize it, and it will simply be recached when you visit a page that uses it.
