Google Turned Off API Access - blog search, web search, image search, video search

Previously I read on Google that they would leave the old API active but would not be providing support. I was not expecting all of my pages to shut down at one time. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. The credibility of my site is now being destroyed very quickly. The reason I decided to add the Google API is because I thought they were a big company that helped support the smaller businesses. I thought I was safe that they would not just shut down the APIs that I worked hard to add on my site. Looking back, I wish they never added this service if they were just going to strip it out from under us. This truly hurts my website badly. Any help would be appreciated.

The underlying service is not gone. There is a JS error in the JavaScript wrapper. So perhaps it will get fixed. However, the deprecation of the Web Search API was announced publicly three years ago. Per the TOS, the service has been maintained, but it is now very near its sunset date, after which I would absolutely not rely on the service for a production website. You will want to come up with a migration plan to move your site to the Custom Search API or some other option, or to discontinue the search functionality altogether.jg

Google has not announced replacements for the Blog or News APIs. For web and photos, you can use the Custom Search API (CSAPI), but you will find that it allows only 100 complimentary requests per day before you are required to pay for the service to the tune of $5 per 1000 queries. And for YouTube/video search, you'll need to use the YouTube Data API.
There is a JS wrapper for the CSAPI. Last time I checked in on it (several months ago now), though, it was very minimal, so implementation was not nearly as easy as its AJAX API predecessor. I don't know about the YouTube Data API.
