The Feeds API does not support OAuth of any sort.

The Feeds API does not need any form of authorization. From Java, you simply pull the JSON response and parse it. It does not access non-public feeds or feeds which require authorization, etc.

Feel confused, why Feeds API not support the new authorization method? What's the better way to use Feeds with java?

Thx

Thx for your reply!

I want to use google's feeds service, not just public feeds. Like a rss reader, I need google to record which feed item I marked as read, starred, etc. So I think authorization is necessary.

I don't believe Google makes those features available publicly.

I want to make something like Google Reader, which can record user's behaviors. I used ClientLogin before but it can not modify user data  any more now. So I wanna switch to OAuth2.0.
