You are regularly linking to the Google AdMob SDK developer forum, both in individual replies as well as at the top of this forum. This other forum is currently being hit by spammers. It had around 24K posts before the weekend, which means that around 20,000(!) spam posts have been added in just the last two days.

The moderation team of the other forum must know about this problem by now, as it is pretty obvious. Even if they are not observing the forum directly but through some ticket system, and I suspect as much from their weird way of typically answering support requests, there should be several tickets open about that. I also reported abuse for a good amount of spam posts, and those reports should pile up somewhere as well.

Since both this and the other forum are official developer support forums run by Google teams, you must have a way to contact that other team and have them do something about it. If so, please do. If not, please stop linking to an unmoderated forum full of spam.

Hi Andreas,

The spam has now been mitigated, though is still in progress of being cleaned up entirely from the web UI side of things. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused to your inbox.

Currently, this API forum and the Google Mobile Ads SDK forum are still the recommended channels for getting support for the AdMob API and the Google Mobile Ads SDK respectively.

Thanks,
Eric, AdMob API Team
