Can't display non-reserved ads with GPT inside a webview

Hello,

I have trouble displaying non-reserved ads in my mobile app using a webview like described here: https://developers.google.com/admob/android/webview.

Inside my Android WebView, I added Google Publisher Tag scripts in the <head> section. This way I am able to display ads that have line items and creatives defined in my Ad Manager account.

However, even though I can see the "Auction Ad" on https://webview-api-for-ads-test.glitch.me/ and my setup looks fine when loading this test URL in my webview, when I try to get this kind of ad in my WebView with my HTML loaded from a file (not a site), I just can't see it (GPT console says the ad has been received but there is no Creative ID or Line Item ID).

Is it required to use a valid URL and domain name to see this kind of ads (AdSense?) ?

Since you mentioned that you were able to display test ads using our test URL test URL: https://webview-api-for-ads-test.glitch.me/, then this confirms that your code implementation of the of the Mobile Ads SDK - WebView API for Ads is fine. I'm afraid that we cannot comment on the error that you were getting since this is more on the AdSense side. With that, we would recommend reaching out to AdSense support team (via this`https://support.google.com/adsense/?hl=en#topic=3373519) to get their insight to the said error you're getting.
