Hi,
I'm using Admob mediation for my android app.
Recently I added the Meta Audience Network.
In My app I have 2 banners, the first is regular, and the second is dynamically resized by the device size with the AdView.setSize(width, height) method, but it keep the 300X250 ratio.
When I check the meta bidding rate, the first is about 50% and the second 25%(!!).
checking the Meta audience report, looks like they categorized some of the second banner bidding requests as "Medium Rectangle", some as "banner" and a lot as "other".
In Meta audience console, I mapped the second banner to meta banner and also tried as medium rectangle, but without any improvements.
Is that mean that dynamic ad size cannot be handled correctly by Meta network? and how to fix it?
Thanks.

Hi

Meta bidding for non-test devices requires the device to have the Facebook app installed and user signed in per https://developers.google.com/admob/android/mediation/meta#enable_test_ads. Without this, it is expected that Facebook might not bid (though they still might get bid requests).

Most bidding partners that require 3p SDK rendering (e.g. Meta) do require their signal to be present in order to receive bid requests. They should verify their third-party bidding parameter at https://developers.google.com/admob/android/ad-inspector#view_bidding_details_for_an_ad_unit.

Feel free to reach out to us if you need more help!

Hi,

Please be informed that Meta Audience Network's Banner format supports the medium rectangle display format and flexible width banners with heights of 50, 90, or 250. For more information kindly refer to Integrate Meta Audience Network with bidding documentation. I would recommend reaching out to Meta's product support team for better assistance for your concern.
