Hello guys,
Our app ("
Local Bus SP" on Play Store) is getting this alert "
Google-served ads on screens with replicated content". I have already read the policy and from what I understood it is fully compliant, however when I send the app for review, the IA bots refuse it without any explanation of where the supposed error is.
Content authorization:
We are authorized to use the data from a public transport company (
SPTrans) in our application.
We don't replicate their web site blocks content:
We get (with authorization) the data directly from the company's api-server.
Addition of content value:
We create our own content layout/design with more informations to the users.
App's necessary library: Google Maps API
Our app is also allowed to use Google Maps into the main screen, which currently takes up half of it.
Addition of value to map content:
We customize the map adding important markers corresponding to the app's functionality.
Ad place:
We add an ad (banner) at the bottom of screen.
Another apps that do the same:
There are other apps (BusFinder, Cittamobi, etc) that do the same thing and I can see they displaying Google ads without any issues.
Our app screenshot example:
I've attached a screenshot of the app's main screen for any review.
Questions:
1 - What's wrong with our app?
2 - Is it really not in compliance?
3 - If yes, how to correctly display ads in this case?
4 - If in this case, it's impossible to display AdMob ads, which alternative platforms (except Appodeal) generates good revenue like AdMob?
Thanks in advance!
