Google IMA scroll absorption iOS

Hi team,

I am facing an issue where the view playing IMA ad does not recognise the touch and scroll action.

This appears as if the scroll is stuck.

Please help me know how to fix this.

HI Aashima,

The behavior in which the page is not scrollable when pressing the video player while the ad is playing is an intended behavior, and this is something that would be fixed on your own implementation. One workaround is that by adding an event listener on the container element passed to the AdDisplayContainer for “touchmove” events to trigger the scroll on your page.

Hi,

I have my avplayer implemented in a uitableviewcell. Whenever the user tries to scroll through the table view keeping the finger over the player, when the preroll ad is playing, the scroll does not work..

Although, it works fine when the ad has finished playing.

Here is what I tried to do.. I tried implementing tap gesture on the view passed to the AdContainerView.

This tap works well n fine when the ad is not playing but when it is playing, the view recognises no tap gestures.

Please help me with this issue.
