Hello all, looking for any advice or ideas. Here is the situation:

I have been using AdMob for many years and it has been a great solution for me. I have never used any mediation or waterfall sources and have limited experience with them.

Recently a small company has inquired about showing ads in my app. They use Google AdManager and want to provide me with an ApplicationId and AdUnitId created from their GAM account.

The problem: They only serve ads to US/CAN/UK english users. This would eliminate several 100k users from receiving ads in my app, so I cannot solely on their network. I somehow need to route ad requests for these locales to their account, while routing all other requests to my existing AdMob account.

My first thought was to handle this within the app and route the requests based on location, however I cannot have multiple ApplicationIds as they use the same SDK. I have been researching mediation as a solution but keep getting lost in the weeds.

Is this even possible?  Any thoughts would be much appreciated, thank you!

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

With regard to your concern, kindly note that the AdMob mediation is a feature that lets you serve ads to your apps from multiple sources, including the AdMob Network, third-party ad networks, and AdMob campaigns (https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6162747). AdMob mediation helps maximize your fill rate and increase your monetization by sending ad requests to multiple networks to ensure you find the best available network to serve ads. In addition to that, if your account was created using AdMob, you cannot connect it in a AdManager account, and they have different App ID and ad unit id format.
