Anyone else notice that earnings are no longer being updated for
adsense? They always used to jump up 2 days later when the adsense
earnings come in, but my earnings from 8/15 still haven't updated.

The Adsense top up has stopped from the 15th onwards.

@Gerald: are you sure? We're talking about adsense here, not admob.
Admob earnings are coming in just fine, but adsense, which usually
gets added 2 days later, hasn't updated since 8/15.

It seems none of us are seeing additional Adsense earnings after the
"ad day" finishes. I thought that maybe the Adsense pay might be
included "real time" but I don't believe the revenue is consistent
with that theory. Clicks, however, have been higher at day-end and
more consistent this week, which leads me to believe at least a
portion are included already. Hopefully, that is progress on the
integration effort.

But what i see now is that i was having a high CTR( almost double till 14th with eCPM one and half compared to now) , so i think the adsense earnings are not integrated for me ,,,, if they are ,,, i have lost money and will be losing

Adsense revenue updated realtime?

Well, that doesn't seem to be the case for me.
Cause my AdMob daily revenue remains roughly the same
but the revenue from Adsense, which is normally added after a couple
of days, is missing.
And, that's quite a lot too. Especially, on a day with bad AdMob fill
rate.

Same problem with me too, no update from 15th
And Adsense earnings are more than half of my earnings, i know for a
fact that are not being added on real time basis.

Well, I hope it gets updated. It was a theory, and we see inconsistent
revenue from Adsense anyway. Let's hope the revenue is updated. I've
seen updates back as far as a week, but it's been a while since I've
seen it.

If I see an update, I'll post it.

I know that everyone's ratio of Admon:Adsense will vary, but just as
some form of quantification the clicks reported by Admob since the
15th are 21% less than the clicks actually recorded on the devices. As
compared to only a 3% discrepancy prior to that.

And for reference, to date Admob support has refused to accept any
figures other than the Admob figures. Even those reported by the Admob
API on device.

Hey guys,

There is a known issue with the AdSense reporting statistics not displaying since 8/15, and the team is working on it.

For future reference, a more appropriate place to report earnings issues is the AdMob contact page.  This forum's main purpose is to provide technical support related to the SDK.

Thanks,
Eric

Eric, that's great, but I'm still waiting for a response from that
contact page lodged over 10 days ago (on another issue).
Nor have I received a response from email sent directly to Admob
support.

Little wonder that issues like this get vented here.

How come no one tells us this things, unless we start a thread and complain about it for weeks. Seriously, I bet you large development houses got some kind of notification. It has been 10 days now and no Adsense updates. How big of an issue this is?

Saša Šijak

I also wonder that. I can`t imagine that persons/companies that for
example earn 1+K$ per day don`t get notice from Google about their
problems with Admob. Seriously Google, you earn billions of dollars
with Admob and it will continue to increase in future, and we as
developers that trust in you and go with Admob, not some other ad
provider, feel as you don't care at all. No notice, no email, nothing,
and there were to many problems with Admob in recent times.

Jim

I'm curious - what would you expect AdMob to say in a notification to
"large development houses" or "1+K$ per day" developers? Something
like, "Hey, we found a bug. It will effect your ad reporting and/or ad
revenue for hours or days. We don't know yet. And we're not telling
the others, so keep quiet about it..." ? That's supposed to be funny -
seriously, I'm at a loss as to what a "secret" update would be like.

I think their situation is not that different from ours, as
developers. They are being asked to add system enhancements while
fixing bugs. Suddenly, a "problem" occurs. It could be a website bug,
a network error, ad category problem, an error with a particular ad,
etc. They need time to figure it out before they just start changing
things. Once they have an answer, they build it and test it. If it
turns out that the "fix" doesn't fix it, then they start over. Or, the
"fix" might uncover other problems. Then they risk scope creep - do
they take time to fix the newly discovered problem?

Once a test is successful, they still have to put it out for all of us
and monitor it. In the mean time, we're anxious, they're anxious - and
most likely, we're all losing money (maybe only a little, maybe a
lot). I have yet to have a profitable bug in our software... maybe I'm
alone on that, and with their complex systems, maybe it happens. But
that sounds like bad business, and possibly fraudulent.

I just hope they put a system in place (maybe a Publisher "Known
Issues" section on the website, like Android Market; or a separate
forum), so we can report possible issues, they can announce/confirm
known issues, post progress/status reports and close issues when they
appear to be resolved. That's a lot of work... but it seems it would
help all of us.

I am not asking them to tell me there is a bug. My bank always notifies me when they are scheduled to perform a website maintenance and that some or all functionality of the site will not be available. If Google scheduled to perform some kind of maintenance for Admob, let us know that maintenance is scheduled and there could be possibility that earnings will not be properly reflected. That is all. We have to guess why the Adsense earning have not been updated in 48, 96 or more hours.

I understand Admob doesn't want negative publicity out there, but I'm
very glad I found this thread. I thought that my earnings were just
decreasing. My apps don't make much yet, so it's hard to tell a real
trend from a problem. I never would have contacted support about this.
What would I even say? That my app isn't making as much money, and I'm
wondering if there's actually a problem or if my app just sucks?
Learning my earnings haven't actually taken a nosedive has made my
day.

Would you rather have every single developer reporting this issue
through the contact page then? Given that this has been going on for
two weeks (and it took you a whole week to even acknowledge the
problem), it seems that asking people to use the contact page to
contact you directly, rather than asking around on the forum first,
would cause a lot of extra work for you guys.
Otherwise, is there another forum where we should look for
announcements regarding known issues?

Message that statistics are not being reported accurately was because
the number of requests wasn't updating (now almost fixed) Mine adsense
earnings are delayed since couple of weeks too. I would like to
receive notice from google, but I can understand why they do not.
Money is a sensitive issue, not admitting you are wrong can save you
millionths of dollars if people are going to sue google for it.
Secondly, they dont want to mislead there statistics by guessing
adsense earnings while the problem isn't fixed. If google reports you
have earned a amount of dollars, they can't take it away from you in
case they are wrong. So they better stop all earnings from the type
that causes problems.

I hope it will be fixed soon
