Sample facebook mediation in admob ?

Hi
I'm sorry to ask for a sample here but I cant find a complete sample code of an admob example using facebookadapter anywhere else. I dont know what parameters to give the facebookadapter and then how to show it in my adview.

Hi Akash,

While I do not have a sample app, here are steps that I would suggest you to follow - 

• Use this sample app for Banner Ads and make sure you add in your Ad Unit ID with FAN mediation setup.
• Go into FANs Dev site, add a new app, select Android as the platform and follow the instructions. 
• Copy the FAN adaptor and the FANs SDK that you can find here into app > libs folder. Make sure that you add them as libraries.

Hi Veer

I did add my app to the FAN dev site and integrated the sdk and added the adapter in the libs. No how do i use that adapter to display ads in the banner I already use for admob?

Hi Akash,

Once you integrate the SDK and the Adaptor for FAN, you can use your FAN mediation enabled Ad Unit ID to load ads as you normally would do. If the Mobile Ads SDK receives any ad from Facebook Network, then it will use the adaptor and the SDK to render out the AdView. Also make sure that your eCPM value for FAN is higher than the other Ad networks if you want to make sure that you receive ads consistently from FAN.

So there is not a single line of Java code to be written ? Are there any test facebook ads to see if it's working or not ?

Hi Akash,

I do not have any test FAN banner ads that I can provide you.  Also, apart from importing the FANs Adaptor and SDK, there is nothing else that you would have to do. Just make sure that you have properly added FAN as Mediation network for your Ad Unit ID and the follow the steps in the earlier mentioned FAN guidelines.

You can give us your Ad Unit ID and we will help you with any further queries. Also, here is a sample app that you can use. Make sure to add your Ad Unit ID.

Hello guys! I am trying to use Facebook Medaition in my android app with interstitial ads. I have added the adapters created the placement ids and added it to Admob account. My banner ads perfectly shows but i dont know what is wrong with interstitial ads.

Hi Suman,

Can you share your Ad Unit ID with us? It's always better to only enable test ads from FAN to ensure that ads are served reliably. Also, increase your eCPM values for this network and try again
