Admob Interstitial AD delay close

hi,

I'm using AdMob to integrate ads, and the unit id is ca-app-pub-3940256099942544/1033173712, this is test id in document.

The display ad is shown in the style shown in the following image：

I have a question: Why does the onAdDismissedFullScreenContent callback become sluggish when closing this type of ad via the close button, taking at least 2 seconds to trigger?

Is this an AdMob bug? Or did I miss something during integration? Or is it an ad material issue?

We’ve tested and confirmed that ‘onAdDismissedFullScreenContent’  is being triggered within one second as expected in our Google sample application. Could you please verify if the same behavior occurs in your Google sample app? If so, please share the sample project along with a screen recording and Logcat timestamps showing the issue.

I have submitted the sample code that will cause bugs as required.

Replay steps：
1.Click the loadAd button
2.Show ad button
3.Close ads
4.The page displays red text indicating the duration of the onDismissFullContent callback.

Please try again！ Test several times.

I executed the sample project you provided on the Realme RMX3241 physical device and was unable to replicate the issue. Despite multiple attempts, the onAdDismissedFullScreenContent call and the onResume call consistently showed a time difference of 0.

Could you try once with the physical device and if the issue still persists then kindly provide the below information privately for further investigation.

• The ad request and ad response from ad inspector (https://developers.google.com/admob/android/ad-inspector#advanced_ad_unit_debugging)
