Giving Admob id to developper

Hello

I'm really new to app making. I had this idea for an app and hired a developer to create my app.
Now my developer is asking my email and password for admob so he can setup a banner on my app though, should I give him my
email and password? He'll gain a full access to my admob account forever. Can he work with just my publisher Id?

Yes, he can work with just the Ad unit id of that particular app. Though you should know yourself on creating the app ( for ad unit id's) in admob UI ( which a non-developer can do as well).

With the test ads, he will know if the implementation of AdMob SDK is correct or not. So no need of seeing requests made or not ( which is shown in the AdMob web UI for which he is asking access)
