Dear Developers

I was intended to insert only video clip ads on my app.

And now, I have realized that it also includes app ads.

Are there any ways to put only video clip ads?(I mean a full screen-covered video clip)

Also, I wonder that I can make users to watch it for 15 seconds necessarily such as youtube ads.

Thank you for reading. I am looking forward your answer.

Hi Yongrae,

If you're using Interstitial Ads, you may limit the Ad Type to Video Ads only from the AdMob dashboard. Take note that limiting the ad type may result to a decrease in impressions. On the other hand, Rewarded Interstitial Ads are already limited to video ads only.

As for your question about requiring users to watch the video ad for a certain duration similar to YouTube's "Skip Ad" feature, if you're using Rewarded Interstitials, some of the 3rd party Ad Networks you can mediate with might have certain configurations on their end to help you implement the "Skip Ad after n seconds" feature that you want to achieve. It is best that you refer to their documentation about this or contact their corresponding support team.

Let me know if I misunderstood your question or you have any other SDK-related concerns and we'll gladly assist you.

Best Regards,
