AdMob banner suddenly stopped showing

Hi

I am still getting requests since 11th September 2021, my match rate has been 0% and my ads are not displaying on my app.

I am only only using Admob for non personalised ads and no user metrics, just displaying ads and here are some logs from my device in prod:

 - <Google>[I-ACS800023] No pending snapshot to activate. SDK name: app_measurement

 - <Google>[I-ACS023012] Analytics collection enabled


I am not sure what the analytics stuff is as I'm only using Admob, not firebase


Please help :)

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Upon checking your logs, can you confirm if you are trying to test the ads in your device? If yes, you need to enable your device as a test device before testing it. Kindly note that iOS simulators are automatically configured as test devices.

Hello

My device is registered as a test device on my Admob account (although its never shown test ads, only live ones) but the app had been live for a week showing ads to users but then it suddenly stopped.

I have no violations in my account, all my payment details are up to date and no code changed when they stopped

Thank you for your response.

Kindly avoid using your ad unit id if you are trying to test your ads in a production-looking ads if your device is not configure as testing device to avoid the invalid traffic. For us to further investigate this, could you please provide the following details via Reply privately to author option or send it directly to mobileads...@gmail.com? Kindly inform us on this thread if you sent it directly to the email provided.

Hi Liam,

Thank you for the information. In looking over this, we were able to test it on our end and saw that it is not serving ads to us, on our sample app. There are actually multiple things we would suggest to look into for your app. First we would look into this article which talks about new apps that have been released to the store. At the same time are you seeing any error codes while you are testing, we also suggest to use our test ids when testing, to make sure you get test ads. Lastly, the other thing that I see is that you are only serving non personalized ads? This could also have some effect on the ads that are being served. We would suggest to contact our Product Support Team, as they can look into this more.
