In Admob, it is not possible to link your iOS app to the App Store before the app is published (it cannot be found with the methods suggested, by ID, name, url...).  This creates several issues for testing:

1) It's not possible to test real ads before publishing (even once, and not clicking on the ad), as it doesn't serve ads until the app has been linked to a store in Admob.

2) It's not possible to test the GDPR message before publishing the app, as the Admob GDPR settings also require an App ID that isn't found until the app is published .I suspect it is the reason why I cannot see the GDPR message at the moment in my test.

Is there a way to test real ads, and the GDPR message, before the app is published?
If not, what is the way to proceed if my aim is to have everything integrated when I publish my app?

Thank you.

Hello Romain,

Copying the reply in another thread that you created - even though your app isn't published in App store yet, you can still:
  • Receive test ads, see documentation on Enabling test ads
  • Create GDPR messages, load and present consent forms, see documentation on UMP SDK

Regards,
Joshua
