Hi Andrea,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. At this moment we do not know of such support or even if they are going to. This does not mean though that it isn't in development or under some development. Just that we are unaware if there is.

Hello Andrea,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

With regard to your question, we are the correct support team when it comes to AdMob technical support. Then for your concern for support for Apple Silicon Mac to the AdMob Mediation Adapters, kindly note that AdMob only supports mobile implementation on AndroidiOSUnity and Flutter, and there are no support yet for Apple Silicon Mac to the AdMob Mediation Adapters in the following platforms.

Hello Andrea,

Thank you for clarifying this.

As you already mentioned, the AdMob SDK for iOS already supported this. With regard to the mediation partners of the AdMob SDK, what we can recommend is to reach out to the mediation partner you wish to use that doesn't support the apple silicon mac on their mediation network, as we don't have any control on the specific mediation network we partnered on.

Hi Andrea,

Thank you for the response. You are correct that arm64 has been added to the regular Admob to allow testing on the devices. You are also in the correct spot. We would be the ones that you should bring this question to.Just at this moment we do not know if there are any plans to do this same thing with the adapters or not. What I will do though, is bring this to our team and see if maybe we can get more information about the possibility of this happening or when it might be happening.

Hello Andrea,

Thank you for reaching out.

All of the AdMob mediation adapters are compatible with iOS arm64 and armv7, and can be built in simulator x86_64.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Regards,
Joshua

Hey Joshua,

Thanks, I'm aware of the current compatibility.

So... yeah... the question of the subject still stands: when do you plan to update the repository so that the adapters can be used in simulator arm64 (new MacBooks with Apple Silicon)?

As I mentioned before, I've already submitted a pull request that fixes this for you, if someone could just review/approve.

Just be kind and save developers the burden to download the repo and manually re-build the frameworks for the adapters to work on arm64 simulators. :D
It's literally one line of code that can save hours.

Thanks,
Andrea
