Warning: Don't use GADInterstitial's loadAndDisplayRequest:usingWindow:initialImage: with mediation

We have seen odd behavior when using GADInterstitial's loadAndDisplayRequest:usingWindow:initialImage: with mediation. We're cautioning developers against using this. For those that are interested, we will release a code tutorial soon outlining how to replicate this functionality without using this method.

Just adding another point here. We've seen issues using this method with iOS 6 as well so would caution against using it. Check out the blog post at http://googleadsdeveloper.blogspot.com/2012/11/create-your-own-version-of.html for an overview on how to implement this functionality yourselves.

It's still recommended to use the solution in the blog post. And we'll remove the reference to the loadAndDisplayRequest method in our docs this time.
