We are facing a critical issue where ad serving has suddenly stopped across our Android and iOS apps, even though no implementation or configuration changes were made on our side.

Here’s a detailed overview of the situation:

  • Our app had been serving ads normally since December 2024, with stable performance and healthy traffic.

  • On 19th September 2025, ad serving stopped abruptly — impressions and revenue dropped to zero from that date onward.

  • When reviewing our AdMob account, we noticed a notice under the Privacy & Messaging Center regarding “Confirmed Clicks On”. However, no actions were taken from our side that could have caused this, and there were no changes to our ad implementation or user flows.

  • Before the issue occurred, our CTR (Click-Through Rate) ranged between 0.4% and 5.8%, which was within normal variance for our traffic.

  • We contacted AdMob Support after the initial drop. The team advised us to review our configuration and ensure all recommended changes were implemented — which we confirmed had already been in place.

To troubleshoot further, we decided to:

  1. Create and update new ad units for both iOS and Android.

  2. Integrate these new units in our production apps.

After doing so, ads began serving again — but only for a short duration (approximately 3–4 days) before ad serving stopped completely once more.

We have verified the following:

  • The SDK initialization completes successfully on both platforms.

  • Test ads load without any issue.

  • There are no recent code changes or new app releases corresponding to the dates when serving stopped.

  • App-ads.txt is correctly configured and hosted at the verified domain.

  • There are no policy violations or disapproved ad requests visible in the account dashboard.

Given that this pattern has now repeated twice (ads serving normally for a few days and then halting entirely), it appears the problem may be related to a serving restriction, automated review, or account-level limitation rather than an integration error.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could:

  • Review our account and confirm whether any serving limits, policy flags, or confirmed-click-related actions are currently applied.

  • Clarify whether updating or recreating ad units may have triggered a temporary review or reset affecting ad delivery.

  • Provide guidance on how we can restore consistent ad serving and prevent this from recurring.

Thank you for your time and assistance. We are happy to provide logs, screenshots, or ad request details if that helps in further investigation.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Even test ads are not showing for our apps.
