How to enable the custom controls for videocontroller of the native video ads?

Hi,

I wanted to control the Video Player with my own play, pause and volume control placed at the top left of the `MediaView` in case of video ads. For that, I have enabled the `customControlsRequested` in `GADVideoOptions`.

But when I see the video ad controls which are placed by Admob SDK in the bottom left of the `MediaView` are still being displayed and able to control the video playbacks. But the controls which are placed by mine for playing and pausing the video by calling `GADNativeAppInstallAd.videoController.play()` and `pause()` are not working. I am following the below documentation for the steps mentioned above.

Let me know If I am missing something here.

Also, I am experiencing the same behavior in Android too.

Hello there,

Unfortunately, the APIs you are trying to use are only available if AdManager is used and not for ads from AdMob network. Let us know if you need anything else. If you are using DFP to serve ads, then do let us know and we can guide you further.

Is this true for Android too?

If so, it's a big problem that you don't offer video controls, because they can be overlapping with UI on full screen native ads. 

In fact, they already do in your own sample :

And as there is no way to detect where the video controls appear, and we need to have the MediaView take the whole space for full screen, how could we overcome this issue and let the user reach the controls?
