Can you get banned from the Play Store because of ad placement?

I'm being a little proactive here as I've not had, or heard of any problems, with the placement of my ads, but I thought I remember reading somewhere if you place your ads in a way that could trick users into clicking on the ad, your app could get banned from the Play Store.  The reason I ask is I have my ads at the very bottom of my app, which is the most logical place to have it.  However is it, obviously, right above the device's buttons, which could lead to mistaken clicks.

The only other place I could place the ads are at the top, but it would really ruin the aesthetics of the app and maybe turn customers away.

No Admob and Google Play are 2 different things (despite both being owned by Google).

Worst that could happen is that your Admob account might come into dispute. But more likely the click fraud algorithms might pick up on unusually high rates of clicks with no follow through and so you might see some adjustment of income or not get dealt the best ads.

NB these are my personal perceptions. The reality may be slightly different.

This is where I read it:

"Ads should not be placed very close to or underneath buttons or any other object which users may accidentally click while interacting with your application."

I'm guessing they mean somehow overlapping or in a way that if the users clicks on a hardware/software button, it would cause the ad to get clicked.  Not much I can do, because if I put them at the top, my Actionbar has menu items the user clicks.

The only other place would be right in the middle of the screen, which I'm not doing.  I'm not going to worry too much about it, but you never know with Google.

Don't worry about that. Admob ads already have an adequate protection against accidental clicking. And this is again in the admob FAQ. It has nothing to do with PlayStore

There is still some space between the device button and the bottom of the screen which I think will not cause accidental clicks.
Having a button overlapping the ad is wrong implementation.

If anyone is worrying about this, they can use RelativeLayout( for the app layout) for the purpose of having margin from bottom of some minimum value (10 or 20 dip), so that they have some space between the ad and the device buttons.

Thanks
Kunal
