I keep getting "Google-served ads obscuring content" but I'm not sure the actual issue

Dear Google Mobile Ads SDK Developers team

I keep getting "Google-served ads obscuring content". Now I get it again for the fifth time. Every time I get this restriction, all ads on my app are restricted.

I usually fixed it just by replying that "I don't know the issue because there is no obscure ads on my app", and the issue solved. but the same issue comes again after a week or two.

Could you please help me to inspect my app or my units to find the exact issue?

I use three ads formats on my app. They are banner ads, interstitial ads and rewarded video ads.

The "Google-served ads obscuring content" is a policy error, it means that We do not allow Google-served ads that: fully or partially obscure content for any period of time. You can learn more about it in this article, it has tips for understanding this. We also recommend reaching out to the Product Support Team as this is a policy error.

Can you help me to find out which unit ID that caused the issue?

I have three unit IDs (with different ad formats) on my app but on Admob ID, it didn't tell me which unit ID that caused the  "Google-served ads obscuring content" .

I have asked in the community, but there is no response.

Please help

I believe your app would be tagged with "Google-served ads obscuring content" policy error in your policy center on your account. However, I do not think that it will specifically define what ad unit id is causing the issue.

 

Our recommendation would be to check your apps implementation where the ads is being displayed and you may use this as reference for complying with the policy: https://support.google.com/publisherpolicies/answer/11127388#zippy=%2Ctips-for-understanding-this-restriction.

 

However, since this is a policy error, at this point I believe the best route would be to patiently wait for the response of the Product Support Team to your inquiry as it is out of scope for our support channel to fix policy issues on your account.
