Issue regarding ads close on X button click

Hi i have implemneted ads in my app but i am not able to close these ads on x button click at the top of the ads , because of this google play store is rejecting my application

Hi Prachi,

Could you please provide more details on the issue that you were having?

• Are you using Interstitial ad or Rewarded ad
• Is the issue occurs on a specific ad?
• Is the issue reproducible using our demo ad units (https://developers.google.com/admob/android/test-ads#demo_ad_units)?
• Share to us your AdMob App ID

I just wanted to have confirmation if the close button in the sticky banner ads will  not be closing the app on x button click , then if there can be any issue from play store ?

Hi, 

Yes, you will be facing policy violation issues if the ad is not closing when you tap on the x button. As per iab guidelines there should be a ‘close button’ above top right corner of the ad as defined in LEAN User Experience and Ad Content.

Could you please provide more details via “Reply to author” option for further investigation:

• Platform being used
• Mobile Ads SDK Version
• Device/OS versions affected
• App ID and Ad Unit ID
