Hi,
Thank you for contacting the Mobile Ads SDK Support team.
I ran the Google Sample Project with the details you have provided and was unable to load ads with error: "Failed to read publisher's account configuration". This error may occur due to UMP and is not a necessary concern unless UMP is being utilized for GDPR compliance purposes.
Could you kindly verify whether you have enabled the GDPR and IDFA messages in the privacy and messaging section of your AdMob account? If you have not enabled, kindly enable and allow those messages in the privacy and messaging section of your AdMob account.
We also tried by enabling Ad Inspector. It shows “no fill error” means that the ad request was successful, but no ad was returned due to lack of ad inventory. Kindly do note that the SDK just requests ads to the ad server and does not have any control on the ads it serves; this behavior isn't controlled by the Mobile Ads SDK.
Make sure that you have followed the iOS implementation guidelines. This is more of an Ad serving concern rather than anything specific to the code implementation of the Mobile Ads SDK. That said, I would recommend that you reach out to the Product support team for further assistance regarding the ad serving concern.![]() |

Hi,
Thank you for sending the AdInspector request and response. I have also checked from my end in our Google banner sample application and No fill is the response.
No fill error means that the ad request was successful, but no ad was returned due to a lack of ad inventory. Since you are facing issues with displaying ads with AdMob, follow the steps in Can't See Ads Troubleshooter and select the answers that best describe your situation. Make sure that you have followed the Android implementation guidelines. This is more of a serving concern than anything specific to the Mobile Ads SDK code implementation. That said, I would recommend that you reach out to the Product Support Team for further assistance regarding the ad serving concern. Please note that the SDK just requests an ad to the ad server (AdMob, Ad Manager, AdX, or through a Third-party ad network) and does not have any control over the match rate/fill rate. Note that we can only assist with technical queries/concerns related to the Mobile Ads SDK.
