AdMob Interstitial Ads displaying but not showing revenue

Our app integrated AdMob and have both banner ads and full page ads showing in our production app. 

For some reason, AdMob does not register clicks or impressions for full screen ads.  The app is, however, showing ads.  My Developers and I searched the forum, but could not find a solution. Is this a normal problem?

We found the following post, that seemed related, but we did not use GADInterstitial’s loadAndDisplayRequest:usingWindow:initialImage: method with mediation.

You won't get clicks in the mediation reporting for interstitials because the interstitial ad network adapter interface doesn't have an onClick() attribute.

How am I able to see the revenue being generated from full-page ads then?

When I navigate to Reporting >> Apps/Sites, I see "Interstitial Reqs." and "Interstitial Imps.", with nothing available for "Imps." This leads me to believe that our app is not making any impressions on users, is that correct?

Then when I navigate to Ad Mediation Network Reporting, and filter by out Full-Page Interstitial, I am again presented with zeros.

Our app IS showing the full page interstitial, how do we verify if the impressions and payments are actually being recorded?

I'm not sure about the mediation report showing 0s for request and impressions. I'd expect those numbers to be populated, assuming you're referencing the mediation ID instead of your publisher ID in your apps.

As for the Sites & Apps reporting, an "interstitial request" also counts as a "request" and the resulting impression is just an "impression". The best practice is to create a new site ID for each mediation placement so you can test that traffic coming from your mediation placement separately.
