Reward Ad, reward.amount on rewardBasedVideoAdDidReceive

Hi,

for the reward ad is mandatory show a message that explicit say to the user the amour of reward that they get if choose to see the ad, but is impossibile get the reward.amount on rewardBasedVideoAdDidReceive.

The reward.amount is available only when user have complete to see the video.

How can I set the alert dynamic to get the reward amount from server and not set inside the app, maybe in the future I want to change the amount directly from server.

Hi Mattia,

I'm afraid for now, the only available option is to use the client-side callback, didRewardUserWithReward, to reward the user.

Thanks, in that case we can't fully respect the reward guideline because we can't declare the amount of prize... because it change remotely.

Hi Mattia,

Currently, I'm afraid the available option is to set a fixed value for the declaration of the reward amount in your app (e.g., “Watch this video ad to receive 100 gold coins”) based from what you've set for that Rewarded Ad Unit in the AdMob UI. If ever you change the reward amount of that Rewarded Ad Unit in the AdMob UI, then you need to update the reward amount you are declaring for that Rewarded Ad Unit in your app.
