Google video ads show on full width, We want to show google ads on full width (vertically its fine)

Hi Team,

Please suggest any solution for showing ads on full width horizontally, I only need video ads to cover my android devices vertical top/bottom half screen full width, right now it cuts horizontal right/left some part because of small size width of ads, so let me know solution asap. For example, see attached image, show google ad in bottom half, getting c, showing black blank space in left and right part??, how to get rid of it, and show ads video on full half width, cover full view horizontally please.

This ads comes from Google AdMOB. We are just using AdMOB script.

and we are getting ads on run time. Here we dont wants ads which are coming with black space, we need full resolution ads, so user can view full space ads.

Additionally for more information regarding native ads, I can refer you our Google AdMob Native Ads Playbook: https://admob.google.com/home/resources/native-ads-playbook/. By following all the guides we provided, there should be nothing wrong with your implementation.

With regards to your concern about filling the entire native ad with the video being displayed, advertisers provide different aspect ratios for their videos. Some may be in the vertical format and some may be in the horizontal format. If an ad served is in the vertical format and the native ad container was made for a horizontal format (same as the screenshot you provided), then it would be impossible to remove the blank spaces as this would crop some or most information contained in the ad.

A solution to this is to request specific aspect ratios for the media asset as shown in this guide: https://developers.google.com/admob/android/native/full-screen.
By default, ads of any aspect ratio may be returned. For example, you may get a landscape or square main creative asset when your app is in portrait mode. Depending on your native ad layout, you may wish to serve only portrait, landscape, or square ads. You can request assets of specific aspect ratios to best suit your layout.

Hi Team,

I have one more concern here. That once user view Ads from Goolge AdMOB in our app and click on 'SHOP NOW' over AdsMOB, user redirect over other screen. Its possible that user redirect in same screen (another URL open in same screen same space where ads was coming).

Can you confirm if you want to open the target url of native ads in an in-app browser? If yes, by default, all ad click throughs would always open the default browser in the app. But, it is still possible to open the target url of native ads in in-app browsers. However, it happens through the creative and not decided by the developers. With that, you may want to reach out to your ad providers for further assistance. If it helps, you can try to check this articles if you're using Ad Manager (https://support.google.com/admanager/answer/191228?hl=en / https://support.google.com/admanager/answer/6366911) that may help you for your use case implementation.
