Interstitial ads close button not clickable on iPhone 12 device family

Interstitial ads close button not clickable on iPhone 12 device family.
The close button is being presented below the status bar and it's impossible to click the close button to dismiss the interstitial.

This is having a great impact in our apps and it's causing us to loose users.

Is this issue already reported and do have any ideia when a fix will be available?

Hi Diogo,

Than k you for bringing this issue to our attention. I would ask if you can share via "Reply to author" with the following information:

• App Id and Ad Unit Id
• Charles Log showing the ads that are causing this issue.

Also we would suggest to test against our sample apps to see if this issue still happens.

Same issue for me, interstitial ad, latest pod version Google-Mobile-Ads-SDK(7.68.0).

Have somebody info how to fix it?

Hi Mikhail,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. As we have asked previously of all issues regarding this. We will be needing a Charles log of the offending ad. As well as any information regarding the ad implementation as well as app id and ad unit id. Also if you have a simple sample app for us to test with. Or know any special test that help to create this issue. Please pass this all along to us. You can share via "Reply to Author" button so as to send us that information privately.

Same problem here. Seems to be a bug of the AdMob SDK occurring only on iPhone 12.

This quick and dirty fix should work, although the SDK should be fixed as soon as possible in my opinion https://stackoverflow.com/questions/64862272/admob-close-button-is-upper-the-safe-area-on-iphone-12
