Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention. We would first suggest looking into how to set up the app-ads.txt file as shown here . The 2 concerns I have when looking at your setup are the custom ads and the ads txt files. I believe those could be causing issues with the crawler when it is looking for the file. You can also look at this link to check out solutions for common issues.

Thank you for the swift response.

Yeah, the step of "redirecting from /app-ads.txt to /ads.txt" might be the cause of the issue. I found this method online and it seems that many AdMob users have successfully setup the app-ads.txt this way, so I tried it, not sure it would work or not.

I followed all the steps on the page you gave when setting the app-ads.txt, except the part of redirection.

Three questions:

1. Is the step of "redirecting from /app-ads.txt to /ads.txt" really causing the problem?

2. If the answer of 1 is yes, is there a way to setup the app-ads.txt on Blogger?

3. If nothing is done about the app-ads.txt from the beginning, what would the APP-ADS.TXT tab on AdMob show?

Would it show:

　(1) "No app-ads.txt file is found for this app." with a gray spot, as shown in the table in the following link? or

　(2) "You haven't set up an app-ads.txt yet", as described in the original post?

Thank you for the swift response.

The "Contact us" there is not working and is redirected to the forum.

I asked the question several days ago in the forum there. However, a response that only suggested the official page about the app-ads.txt was marked by another as the recommended answer. That's really disappointing. How come an answer that doesn't solve the issue can be marked as "recommended"?

And since:

1. The "Contact us" is not functioning,

2. The forum is not helping,

I keep searching the web for a solution, and found the group here.

The user experience provided by AdMob is really, really frustrating. (No functiong "contact us". No functioning forum.)

This is out of scope for us, we only help integrate the Mobile Ads SDK into apps. With that being said, I checked the documents that William showed you and all the examples of redirect have the full "app-ads.txt" in the name of the file. Once again, the place to get help on this is the AdMob Forum.
