Yeah, the step of "redirecting from /app-ads.txt to /ads.txt" might be the cause of the issue. I found this method online and it seems that many AdMob users have successfully setup the app-ads.txt this way, so I tried it, not sure it would work or not.
I followed all the steps on the page you gave when setting the app-ads.txt, except the part of redirection.
Three questions:
1. Is the step of "redirecting from /app-ads.txt to /ads.txt" really causing the problem?
2. If the answer of 1 is yes, is there a way to setup the app-ads.txt on Blogger?
3. If nothing is done about the app-ads.txt from the beginning, what would the APP-ADS.TXT tab on AdMob show?
Would it show:
(1) "No app-ads.txt file is found for this app." with a gray spot, as shown in the table in the following link? or
(2) "You haven't set up an app-ads.txt yet", as described in the original post?
I thought it would be (1), but the current status is (2).
