Hello,

the docs for the UMP SDKs have a disclaimer at the top that says not to release integrations before 15th of August (https://developers.google.com/ad-manager/ump/ios/quick-start, https://developers.google.com/ad-manager/ump/android/quick-start).
I see the Google registration with the TCF 2.0 Global Vendor List is public in the meantime (vendor ID 755).
So do the disclaimers still apply? Why?
Does the timing on / after 15th of August matter (hours + timezone)?

Generally, I still see some confusion around this deadline:

If I read materials from the IAB correctly, 15th August is the day when support for TCF 1.1 is officially to be stopped.

So what exactly should we expect to happen after 15th of August in regards to AdMob integrations and ...

(a) a delayed TCF 1.1 to TCF 2.0 migration
(b) old app versions in stores that support TCF 1.1 but not TCF 2.0
(c) old app versions in stores that neither support TCF 1.1 nor TCF 2.0 nor any other consent scheme

Will these stop serving ads on / after 15th of August?
Or does this 3 month non-personalized ads transition period apply here, too, that is mentioned in the Google AdMob docs for reading an "Invalid TC string"? (https://support.google.com/admob/answer/9760862?hl=en#table)

What are versions of the Google AdMob SDKs for Android and iOS that will work with TCF 2.0?
Obviously, I hope, we should be good to go with the latest releases - still there hasn't been any mention of TCF 2.0 readiness anywhere in the release notes ...

If we ourselves don't use any mediation with Google AdMob, do we still need to request consent from users for other TCF 2.0 vendors for best performance?

Best,
Andreas
