Stopping auto refresh in-app

Hello,

We want to make sure that when we leave a particular screen in our app, that the ads are not refreshed. There is a stop() function call that we make on the ad loader object. Will the refresh that we've allowed at the ad unit level in GAM (screenshot attached) interfere or override this stop() function for auto refresh?

Could you elaborate your use case and implementation specially with the stop function? Are you trying to disable the ad's auto refresh programmatically?

Hi Teejay,

Yes we'd like to override the refresh allowed at the ad unit level in GAM in certain circumstances by using the stop() function.  Sometimes we do not want the ad units to be able to refresh.  So we'd like to use the stop() function to prevent refresh in only those cases
