Looks like some kind of permission issue. This happens very rarely (total
15 crashes out of 100k+ runs), perhaps these users have enabled some
hardened security settings.

Yes, this is reproducible, tested on the emulator and one other device in
EEA. I'm signed in to my Google Account on both devices and I have ads
personalization turned off in Google > Ads settings.
 
Have you tried to test this on your own? Unfortunately I won't find time to
prepare a separate project for you for testing, however I suppose you
already have one and checking this should take you a few minutes. I've
tested this once again and I'm getting obtained status also when using
debug settings.
 
Can you confirm that receiving obtained status with ads personalization
turned off is a proper behavior?

I've been facing the same issue as @Solaris Ads/Khizar Tariq & Sana akhtar
for over a month whereby clicking contact by email gives the generic error
- "Something went wrong , please try again later" .

I just updated to AdMob sdk 20.1 from an older version and I mediate Native
Ads trough MoPub.
 
During the updating process, I properly changed the usage of ImageView to
MediaView as required for the new SDK.
At this point, AdMob Native Ads were working fine on my test device with a
debug build.
 
But now I just created a release build apk to test and I am suddenly
getting this error:
