I had an ad banner being displayed perfectly fine, then randomly i started getting the error code in the subject, the full error code is:

flutter: Ad failed to load: Instance of 'BannerAd', LoadAdError(code: 1, domain: com.google.admob, message: Request Error: No ad to show

Whats odd is i have another ad banner in my app which loads fine, so how can this happen?

Hello,

In order for us to assist you further, could you kindly provide the following?
  • AdMob App ID
  • Ad unit
Also, could you please try our iOS demo unit (https://developers.google.com/admob/ios/test-ads#demo_ad_units), and let us know how it goes?

hello,

Ad mob app id is ca-app-pub-3448183826141919~9986256606 and adunit id is ca-app-pub-3448183826141919/6127736794 - ive tested the test banner id and that works, but the real ad unit id, even in test/debug mode it fails

Hi,

Upon checking, I've seen that your app is under "Requires review" status. It means that your app hasn’t been reviewed yet. To have it reviewed, you must link your app to a supported app store. You can link a supported store to your app in the All Apps or App settings pages and submit for review. During the review, apps may experience limited ad serving (https://support.google.com/admob/answer/9493252). Reviews generally take a couple of days, but in some cases we may require more time to evaluate your app. You can check the status of your review (https://support.google.com/admob/answer/10564477?hl=en#status) and your app’s ad serving in your AdMob account. To know more about app readiness, you can check this article (https://support.google.com/admob/answer/10564477?hl=en). If you encounter any error in your account, we recommend reaching out to the Product Support Team (https://support.google.com/admob/thread/new?hl=en) to better assist you.

Hello, the review is nothing to do with it. The app hasn't been published so its still in production. However i should be able to just use the ad banner ID's and they will show test ads as long as the app is in debug mode or device registered as a test device. As mentioned this isn't an issue on Android, only IOS.

Please could you take abit more care when looking into this

Hi Alf,

Thank you for your response. Can you confirm if you've tried our sample app ad unit id in your app and was able to load ads? If yes, then this is more on ad serving limit that we've mentioned previously that may caused due to your app being in "Requires review" status. Kindly note that the SDK just requests an ad to the ad server (E.g: AdMob), and I'm afraid that it doesn't have any control on fill rate / match rate and policy error of your app. This is more of an ad serving issue which is out of scope to our team. That said, we would recommend raising this to our Product Support team instead. The product specialist there should be able to assist you further on this.
