So I have, effectively, two ads in my AdMob. One points to my app in Google Play. But a specialized version of my app for the Chinese market is listed at wandoujia.com (in english means snappea). So I created a new ad in admob with the same ad unit except text translated to Chinese and the URL pointing to snappea app URL. When you do this sort of custom ad Admob lists the valid/allowed market places the url must be prefixed with and snappea is one of them (i even sent screen shot to adwords support). With snappea as with google it's basically domain.com/com.name.package I used the ad once with a very small amount of money about two months ago. Then a couple weeks ago, we'll say day X, I get a funky email from AdWords saying my add doesn't meeting Adwords policy for gaming. On the list of gaming possible violation I looked the only thing I can think of is that the 'long running javascript' on the page could be the issue. But since I never used the ad, really, and also have no way of changing the code on a massive company's android market - one that Admob said I could link to in my ad creation - I thought: oh well, let the ad unit die or I'll look into it later.

Well, about 4 hours after I seen the initial warning email from Adwords they sent me another email (this is probably within 12 hours of when they sent first email) that they had "re-reviewed" my ad and found it does comply with google AdWords policy. I thought great, I don't even need to do anything now and I couldn't change the website at worst case anyway. But I was like, what the heck is Adwords sending me emails for anyway when I never even logged into their site. It turns out when you create an Admob account Admob shares this info of your campaigns with AdWords. That's the only explanation I can think of. Well, I logged into AdWords for first time and in red at the top it said my account was 'suspended for repeated violations of Google's Adwords policies'. Of course I never got a warning (except one in the morning). I only have two ads with one pointing to google android market and another pointing to Chinese/snappea android market store. I sent them an email and they kindly replied a specialist was looking into it.  A day or less later they said sorry, I'm permanently banned from creating AdWords accounts and if I do another account that will be banned to. NO way to undo it...I even said I'd delete the snappea ad unit/campaign and that I wasn't given a  chance to fix the issue, that they sent a second email saying it was approved (i sent them this email even), and most importantly, when using admob it is listed as a  valid market place to reference! No dice, and aparently this random act of kindness from Adwords is common (search 'adwords account suspended for no  reason').

Unreal, right?

Here is the approved email (keep in mind I of course didn't do any change to make them approve it, or even re-review it), subject line first:

I don't even use the account but I'm just annoyed I wasn't given a  fair shake and apparently there is no reason to suspend my account in the first place. So, I'm begging Admob to help me out and tell AdWords (they said you guys are seperate product but obviously my campaign data is being shared with them) in your portal when one (customer?) creates an Ad unit they are allowed to use a URL prefaced with wandoujia.com. I don't want to paste my URL here but it's same package name as on google play....don't want to get post deleted for 'advertising' or whatnot, but I can provide it if the support team at Admob is not able to find out what snappea ad/campaign i'm talking about in my portal.

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide!
