Using AdMob Mediation with Unity Ads,
when forcing Unity Ads bidding and setting Test Ads on a Test device,
I get all the time response from Unity Ads - "Request Error: No ad to show."
Media type is banner.

I tried that before with Facebook Audience Network also and I got the same behavior.

I checked with the AdMob Test Suit and it looks like that the UnityAds Adapter can not load the UnityAds SDK, although the SDK is part of the project and initialized successfully in the code.
The Unity Ads Adapter is loaded successfully.

Last time I was referred to developer support and from there to the non existing Audience Network developer support,
so I changed the mediation partner to Unity Ads but it still the same so maybe it is a problem with the AdMob / Adapter code.

I saw on the net some other developers that encountered the same problem.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the Mobile Ads SDK Support team.

Please note that the New test devices typically start serving test ads in your app within 15 minutes, but it can also take up to 24 hours.

For test ads, you can refer to Enabling test ads and you can also add your test device programmatically or Add your test device in the AdMob UI

Additionally, you can also check the Set up a test device help center article for reference.

When testing, ensure that you have the Facebook app installed on the test device and be logged in with a valid Facebook login. See Meta's documentation for more details. Without this, it is expected that Facebook might not bid (though they still might get bid requests).

Could you confirm whether you have followed all the steps to Integrate Unity Ads with mediation?

Could you kindly provide the below information via reply to author option for further investigation:

  • app ID
  • ad unit ID
  • Mobile Ads SDK Version
  • Unity Mediation Adapter Version

Thanks,

Hi,

Hope you are doing well, kindly ignore our previous reply.

I ran the Google Sample Application with your app ID and ad unit IDs and was unable to load ads with error: “Request Error: No ad to show”. Please contact the  Product support team as they are better equipped to address your concern and provide further assistance.

Thanks,
