Fail to display larger admob adaptive banner

Hi,

We applied inline adaptive banner with code

GADInlineAdaptiveBannerAdSizeWithWidthAndMaxHeight(320, 600)

But only get back LREC banner.

We tried several times that there is no taller and larger adaptive banner shown.

Please help!

I've tried to check our sample app project for adaptive banner, and set the banner size of "GADInlineAdaptiveBannerAdSizeWithWidthAndMaxHeight(320, 600)", and was able to get the exact ad sizes that was set. Can you try to check our sample app project for adaptive banner, and confirm if you're able to encounter your reported concern on that? If you're able to encounter it also in our sample app, kindly provide us the modified sample app and screenshot of the expected banner size. We have tried sample ad though Android, but still cannot display taller and larger adaptive banner.

I've checked your provided sample app, and was able to retrieve ads with the set AdSize using AdSize.getInlineAdaptiveBannerAdSize(). As per checking into our documentation, it mentioned that when using the inline adaptive banner APIs, the Google Mobile Ads SDK returns a AdSize with the given width and an inline flag. The height is either zero or maxHeight, depending on which API you're using. The actual height of the ad is made available when it returned. Kindly note that, an inline adaptive banner is designed to be placed in scrollable content so the height is always 0 or maxHeight.

 

With that, if you're planning to show a taller and larger ads, you may use interstitial ad format on it. Then, for a ad format that is more customizable, you may use native ads format.
