Firebase errors

Hi.

I'm using AdMob without Firebase, but since updating to the latest Google Mobile Ads SDK, I keep getting Firebase error messages.

Could not locate configuration file: 'GoogleService-Info.plist'.

Unable to fetch Google App ID from default options

etc...

Is it safe to ignore these messages? Is there any way I can make them go away?

Hi Jason,

You would be able to generate the required plist from Firebase console and you can read our documentation for more this information.

I only need to do that if I want to use Firebase, right?

Hi Jason,

This is correct. If you are using our standalone Mobile Ads SDK without Firebase, then you do not need to create a plist and import it into your project.
