Dear Google Mobile Ads SDK Team,
I am developing an application that uses AdMob for monetization, and I have a question regarding ad implementation policies.
I am considering using Native Ads and customizing their appearance. Specifically, I would like to ask if customizing a Native Ad to display full-screen, in a manner similar to how an Interstitial Ad or an App-Open Ad functions, would violate any AdMob policies.
I understand that each ad format has its own intended use case, and I want to ensure my implementation is fully compliant with AdMob's rules to avoid creating a negative user experience and to prevent any policy violations. I have not found any documentation that specifically addresses this scenario, so I would greatly appreciate clarification from your team.
Thank you for your support.
Hi,
Thank you for contacting the Mobile Ads SDK Support team.
You can implement full-screen Native Ads, but they must fully comply with AdMob’s Native Ads policies. It's important to clearly display all required ad elements such as the ad attribution ("Ad"), advertiser name, and at least one primary asset like headline or image. The ad should not mimic app content or mislead users. You can refer to the policy here: Required Ad Elements. For implementation guidance, please see the full-screen Native Ads documentation: Full-Screen Native Ads.![]() |
