Dear Google Mobile Ads SDK Support,

I am experiencing an issue where AdMob ads are not displaying in my iOS app, even though I have followed all setup instructions. Here are the key details:

- My app has already been uploaded to App Store Connect.
- I have implemented AdMob correctly using the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Swift + SwiftUI).
- The app has received App Tracking Transparency (ATT) authorization.
- I have verified that my app-ads.txt file is correctly accessible at:
  https://fishing-sensor.jp/app-ads.txt
- The AdMob dashboard shows: “No ad requests containing app-ads.txt detected.”
- However, the troubleshooting tool in the Help Center says the app-ads.txt is found successfully.

Could you please help me understand why no ads are being served and how I can resolve this issue?

Thank you in advance for your support.

Best regards,
Shuuhei Saito

Hi Shuuhei Saito,

Thank you for contacting the Mobile Ads SDK Support team.

To resolve the reported issue "No ad requests containing app-ads.txt detected", ensure your app-ads.txt file is properly set up and accessible. If you've recently added a developer website or updated your app listing in Google Play, allow up to 24 hours for AdMob to detect these changes. Also, use App-ads.txt troubleshooter to find the root cause of the issue.

If the issue still persists, kindly share with us the app ID via "Reply to author" option so that we can check your AdMob account and clarify on why No ad requests containing app-ads.txt are detected.

Thanks,

Hi Shuuhei Saito,

Thank you for providing the requested information.

Kindly note that it can take up to 24 hours for AdMob to crawl and verify your app-ads.txt files. You need to wait at least 24 hours for the app-ads.txt status to update.

If you've recently added your developer website or updated your app listing in Google Play, allow up to 24 hours for AdMob to detect these changes.

Kindly refer to the help center article to Set up an app-ads.txt file for your app and Resolve issues with app-ads.txt

I have executed our sample project with the provided IDs and am unable to load the ads on my end. However, the execution has resulted in the display of an error message “No ad to show”. This is more of an Ad serving concern rather than anything specific to the code implementation of the Mobile Ads SDK.

Thanks,
