1. Initial Situation and Problem Description

I was previously able to display test ads (Banner, Interstitial, and Rewarded) successfully in my iOS apps. My application has been released for over half a year.

However, after upgrading my Unity version from 6000.1.1f to 6000.2.7f2 and performing a build and run, test ads have stopped displaying. This failure is happening concurrently across multiple apps developed on my system.

Test ads have also stopped appearing on apps that were already installed on the device (without rebuild). This suggests the issue is likely device-specific or server/account-related, not solely a build setting conflict.

  • Error Code: The ad loading consistently fails with the following error:

    • Error Domain=com.google.admob Code=1 "Request Error: No ad to show."

2. Environment Information

- Unity Version 6000.2.7f2 (Version where the issue started)
- iOS SDK Version Google-Mobile-Ads-SDK ~> 11.12.0(Confirmed in GoogleMobileAdsDependencies.xml)

3. Troubleshooting Steps Performed (All Confirmed)

To narrow down the problem, all the following measures have been implemented, but the error persists:

  1. Test Device ID Setting (Crucial)

    • I confirmed the Device ID from the Xcode log (e.g., "11xxxx") and have set it using MobileAds.SetRequestConfiguration() right before MobileAds.Initialize() in all affected apps.

  2. Test ID

  3. App Tracking Transparency (ATT) Implementation

    • The NSUserTrackingUsageDescription key is set in Info.plist.

    • Code to request ATT authorization (requestTrackingAuthorization) is implemented and called upon app launch.

4. Error Detail (bannar)

Error Domain=com.google.admob Code=1 "Request Error: No ad to show." UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=Request Error: No ad to show., gad_response_info=  ** Response Info **

    Response ID: i2**********

  ** Loaded Adapter Response **

    (null)

  ** Extras Dictionary **

    {

        "mediation_group_name" = Campaign;

    }

  ** Mediation line items **

}

5. Requested Support

Since the test ads are not displaying even after comprehensive troubleshooting, we suspect there may be a subtle conflict in the Unity/iOS build process or an issue with the SDK initialization following the Unity version change.

We kindly request your team's assistance in diagnosing this issue.
