Does Google Mobile Ads SDK depend Firebase Analytics?

Hello team,

    My project uses Firebase C++ and IronSource.
    I need to update IronSourceAdMobAdapter to version 4.3.67.0 and it requires Google-Mobile-Ads-SDK 12.6.0, it is bundled in Firebase Apple SDK 11.15.0.
    But I can't find a Firebase C++ version uses Firebase Apple SDK 11.15.0:
        - Firebase C++ 12.8.0 uses Firebase Apple SDK 11.14.0.
        - Firebase C++ 13.0.0 uses Firebase Apple SDK 12.0.0.
    I want to ask if I can use Firebase Apple SDK 11.14.0 with Google-Mobile-Ads-SDK 12.6.0?
    Because I see the docs mentions the link Google-Mobile-Ads-SDK with Firebase Analytics but when using cocoapod or downloading googlemobileadssdkios.zip from AdMob docs, I don't see it depends on Firebase Analytics.

Hi ,

Thank you for contacting the Mobile Ads SDK Support team.

Beginning with Firebase Apple SDK 12.0.0, Firebase’s zip and Carthage distributions of the Google Mobile Ads SDK have been removed so Google Mobile Ads SDK is no longer bundled with Firebase. You must now download it separately from the AdMob Website.

Additionally, AdMob has removed its direct dependency on Google Measurement from version 11.0.0, so to continue collecting user metrics, you must integrate the Google Analytics for Firebase SDK into your app and ensure your AdMob app is linked to Firebase, treating both the Firebase and AdMob SDKs as independent components. So, you can use Firebase Apple SDK 11.14.0 with Google-Mobile-Ads-SDK 12.6.0.
