Hello,

I am trying to implement mediation in my AdMob account (as my ad serving is for some reason limited), and I am  getting strage behaviour.

Objective:
Integrate Mediation with Facebook Audience Network via AdMob mediation in iOS App

Actions done:
  • Added Facebook SDK
  • Added Adapter
  • System says Adapter Name: GADMediationAdapterFacebook, Description: <GADAdapterStatus: 0x280bc1020; state = Ready
Problem:
  • Mediation bidding is not working, and it's giving this error:
Google> Cannot find an ad network adapter with the name(s): GADMAdapterFacebook. Remember to link all required ad network adapters and SDKs, and set -ObjC in the 'Other Linker Flags' setting of your build target.

It seems like It's looking for an adapter with a different name from the one I actually have... maybe this is the problem.

    Thanks for your help,

Hi Dario,

Thank you for providing the requested details.

Upon checking your sample app project, I was able to encounter the message "Cannot find an ad network adapter with the name(s): GADMAdapterFacebook" when using your ad unit id. However, when I've used our test ad unit id, I haven't encounter the message on the logs. Since this message is only showing when using your ad unit id, then the possible reason on this is that, there were no ads to be served from any of the networks in the mediation stack.

In addition to that, I've seen that you've encounter an ad serving limit in your account as well as a payment on hold. In order to maximize the chances of receiving ads from the AdMob SDK:

Hello,

Thanks for the info, didn't know the billing could be an issue.

However, I have already submitted tax info for US, and it says "Approved" in the account, however I see no option for the PIN verification. Could this be related in any way to the AdSense account?

Related to the Policy issues, there is one thing I think I can improve on:

Currently my app shows banner ads as cells in a table view.
Could this be a problem since they are in theory more likely to be accidentally pressed?
What is the best option here? Making them static or replacing with native ads?
Also, do you have a link to the form to request the review to lift the limits? I see no button on my account policy page.

Hi Dario,

With regard to the banner ads on the table view, as long as they are not placed immediately next to interactive elements and app content, then it safe to say that your implementation is fine. You may also check the discouraged banner implementation and the recommended banner implementation, to avoid invalid traffic in your application. For the policy error, you may reach out to the Product Support Team for further assistance on this.

Hello,

Thanks for the update, I see no option to contact the support team however. I only get into endless loops of support documentation. Would love more info on how to actually contact them.

Thanks
