Can interstitial video ads start muted?

to Google Mobile Ads SDK Developers

Hi,

AdMob help mentions that " Video ads that appear in banner ad units always start muted".

But interstitial video ads do not start muted.

Is there some way to achieve that? App plays music so cannot mute phone, and the video interferes music.

With regard to your concern, if you want to set the video ads to muted, you can try the global settings and use the setAppMuted() method. Let me know if you need anything else.
