Google Ad Campaign worked! Result, Admob throttling traffic

Good day everyone! :)

I wanted to reach out to see if any other person has hosted a Google Ad campaign that was successful; but, that success was only met with Admob throttling the ad's being served?

Very curious if anyone else has run into this; if you have, how long did it take for you to get it resolved?

I don't no what is Admod throttling. I am new and just learning. Please explain in details. Is it a bad thing. Am I wasting my time and this Google Admod. Did I set it up wrong. I would appreciate it if someone teach me.

Hi Rannette,

It's not a waste of time, but definitely plan on setting up mediation. Or, having more than one ad source. That was my mistake; admob-sdk does have support for this.

With regard to the Google Ad Campaign mentioned on this thread, you may find more details in this article. For the throttling issue, you may also refer to this instead. For other non-implementation specific concerns, I would suggest reaching out to our Product Support Team so they could also provide better insights.

 

As an aside, with regard to setting up the Mediation feature, you can refer to this guide in order to serve ads to your app from multiple sources.
