Hi Rahul,

Thanks for reaching out to us. Can you please share the Ad unit Id and complete device logs using "Reply privately to Author" option for us to take a look and test it on our end? Also, can you test our sample Ad unit Ids and your Ad unit Id with our  sample apps and see if you are able to load ads?

I think I might be having a similar problem. I have an Android app that is working flawlessly with a banner ad. My iOS version works with the test ad but not with the read ad info. I tried both the new app and banner id that I created for the iOS app and also the app and banner id for the working Android app. No matter what I do, I can't get the real ad to show on either of the 2 iPhones that I have been using for testing, one is running iOS 11.4 the other is running 11.4.1. I am using SDK 7.31.0 on xcode 9.4.1. I even downloaded the sample banner app, but with the same issues, and the code was basically the same since my code for the banner came directly from the guide. I am seeing requests on the admob console, so I was thinking that it was just that the phones weren't generating ads, but then I installed it on my Mom's fresh out of the box iPhone 8 with iOS 11.3.x, and it loaded up perfectly, until her phone also updated to 11.4.1, and now there are never any ads again. Any thoughts?

Hi Rahul,

Thanks for sharing your Ad unit Id privately. I was able to load live ads with your Ad unit Id using our sample apps on my device iPhoneX without any issues. Can you make sure that you reset the Advertising Identifier by going through Settings >Privacy >Advertising> Reset Advertising Identifier and tap on the reset identifier to clear out the data associated with the Advertising Identifier while the Limit Ad Tracking toggle switch is OFF?

Hi Steve,

That is definitely a weird behaviour. Can you please share your Ad unit Id using "Reply privately to Author" option for us to test it on our end? Also, can you please share the error code that you are receiving while trying to load ads on 11.4.1 ?

Hi Steve,

Thanks for sending the Ad unit Id. I was able to load live ads with your Ad unit Id without any issues using our Sample apps on iPhone X actual device and simulator. Can you retry with our sample apps as is being on the latest version of SDK and let us know if you are still facing this issue? You can also check the error thrown via GADRequestError using the GADInterstitialDelegate as it will help you debug the issue further.  Make sure that you reset the Advertising Identifier by going through Settings >Privacy >Advertising> Reset Advertising Identifier and tap on the reset identifier to clear out the data associated with the Advertising Identifier while the Limit Ad Tracking toggle switch is OFF.

Thanks Deepika. When I downloaded the sample app from your link it worked, but the one that I had downloaded previously from the guide had not worked. I copied the framework from the fresh download into my project, and it seems to work. I had to reset my advertising identifier a few times because it was only working one time between resets, but I understand this to be common with fresh apps. I am a very reluctant swift programmer and frequent google user, so I also want to say that the laptop I used did not seem to have pods, so I had to download and link the framework manually, as described in the guide. Thanks again for your help.

I have a problem I believe needs to be addressed too because its extremely frustrating. Recently, I noticed one of my apps on the App Store and one in development won't show ANY ads (test or real ads) at all BUT will only show on simulator. I noticed this yesterday. I updated my iPhone X to iOS 13 and still nothing. It shows fine on the Xcode simulator which is super frustrating because it has been working for months. I know I'm not blocked or suspended so what could this be? I tried your solution to go to Settings>Privacy, etc and that did nothing. Please advise ASAP. Thanks
