New AdMob reporting API? Google AdSense API shows empty reports.

Hi,

A few days ago I have upgraded to the new AdMob.

Since the upgrade the old AdMob reporting API is no longer usable. I have used it to measure the advertising performance.

I have read the AdSense management API from https://developers.google.com/adsense/management/v1.4/reference/index can be used instead of the old AdMob API.

When I send a request at https://developers.google.com/adsense/management/v1.4/reference/accounts/adunits/list for the ad-units they are shown as expected after I have entered the accountId and adClientId from our AdMob account.

But when I try to generate a report at https://developers.google.com/adsense/management/v1.4/reference/accounts/reports/generate it simply outputs:

200 OK

This even happens when I enter a startDate and endDate (like the date of yesterday) when the account was already transferred to the new AdMob platform.

So there should be already sufficient dimensions and metrics to report.

What is going wrong?

Hi Andreas,

Maybe one of the input parameters isn't set correctly. Have you seen https://developers.google.com/mobile-ads-sdk/docs/admob/reporting with a tip on how to filter to your AdMob ad unit ID?
