1)If I enable the consent form in the settings (US state regulations) and enable by default (Don't restrict data processing) for US states, and if the user selects the item (Allow the sale or sharing of my data) in the consent form, then he will be shown personalized ads, and if the user selects the item (Don't sell or share my data), then he will be shown non-personalized ads? Did I understand everything correctly?
2)Should I make a button in the game menu to call this window so that the user can change his decision in the future? If so, how to do it?
3)The text of the consent window can be changed, should it be changed or can it be left as default, this text complies with the rules and can be left as is?im1.pngim2.png

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the Mobile Ads SDK support team.

Please find the answers below for your questions:

  • If I enable the consent form in the settings (US state regulations) and enable by default (Don't restrict data processing) for US states, and if the user selects the item (Allow the sale or sharing of my data) in the consent form, then he will be shown personalized ads, and if the user selects the item (Don't sell or share my data), then he will be shown non-personalized ads? Did I understand everything correctly?
    • Yes, you understand correctly, if you enable the consent form with the "Don't restrict data processing" default setting for US states, users who select "Allow the sale or sharing of my data" will see personalized ads, while those choosing "Don't sell or share my data" will be shown non-personalized ads.
  • Should I make a button in the game menu to call this window so that the user can change his decision in the future? If so, how to do it?
    • Yes, you can make a button anywhere in the app to let user change his decision in the future. Refer to the Google sample application to present privacy option form window to the user.
  • The text of the consent window can be changed, should it be changed or can it be left as default, this text complies with the rules and can be left as is?
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
